Fulham will have the chance to create a piece of club history when they face Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's Premier League clash.

Fulham will have the chance to create a piece of club history when they face Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's Premier League clash.

Marco Silva's side experienced a disappointing 4-1 defeat in last Saturday's home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers, bringing an end to a three-game unbeaten run.

The Cottagers will still be content with their 18-point tally, leaving them in 12th place and four points adrift of the top four.

They will now be fully focused on Sunday's short away trip, with the visitors hoping to create history at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fulham targeting club history in Spurs clash

Fulham have the chance to go unbeaten in eight consecutive London derbies in the Premier League, having avoided defeat in each of their last seven top-flight matches against their fellow sides from the capital (W4, D3).

Their most recent defeat in a Premier League London derby took place in January when they fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Incidentally, Fulham kicked off their unbeaten run against London teams with a commanding 3-0 win in March's home meeting with Tottenham.

The Cottagers have already played three London derbies in the Premier League this season, drawing with West Ham United in September, before beating Brentford and Crystal Palace in November.

As a result of those two wins, Fulham now have the opportunity to win three consecutive Premier League London derbies for the first time since 2013.

Fulham out to continue scoring run

Fulham have scored in 11 consecutive Premier League games since they drew a blank in a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in May.

As a result of that run, the Cottagers are now on the brink of scoring in 12 successive top-flight games for the first time since 1967.

After beating Palace in their most recent road trip, the visitors are also looking to claim back-to-back away league wins for the first time in Silva's tenure.

Fulham will have to make do without the services of Joachim Andersen, Jorge Cuenca and Harrison Reed, while Ryan Sessegnon is a doubt for Sunday's fixture.
