Christian Eriksen injures ankle

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is forced off during Denmark's 2-1 win over Norway after injuring his ankle.

Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen could be out of action for between four and six weeks.

The 21-year-old midfielder was substituted during the first half of Denmark's 2-1 win over Norway on Friday night after injuring his ankle.

He watched the remainder of the match from the touchline with an ice pack on his foot.

After the match, Denmark coach Morten Olsen said that Eriksen had probably suffered ligament damage.

Eriksen has scored one goal in 12 first-team appearances for Spurs.
