Tom Carroll has admitted that he is still hoping to become a regular in the first-team squad at Tottenham Hotspur.
The 21-year-old has been on loan at Queens Park Rangers this season, but is refusing to accept that his Spurs career may be over as he prepares to return to the club this summer.
"I want to make it at Tottenham, that's my main aim," Carroll told the Fulham Chronicle. "I've been there since I was eight so it's obviously a club close to my heart.
"I'm contracted at Spurs and it's down to the two clubs to talk.
"QPR's a great club and I've enjoyed my time here, so we'll see what happens."
Carroll is likely to be involved when QPR face Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
