Daniel Levy is reportedly considering former England assistant Franco Baldini for a recruitment role at White Hart Lane.

Former England assistant manager Franco Baldini is reportedly being considered for a recruitment role at Tottenham Hotspur as Daniel Levy continues to make changes at White Hart Lane.

The Spurs chairman is looking to reintroduce the European management structure that he adopted when firstly Frank Arnesen and then Damien Comolli were employed as director of football between 2004 and 2008.

Andre Villas-Boas's appointment as boss in the summer was with a view to the arrival of a 'recruitment specialist' to work alongside him.

Tim Sherwood was mooted as a possible contender for the position should Levy choose to promote from within.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Baldini is on a shortlist of names who are of interest to Spurs after being recommended by Villas-Boas.

Baldini is currently working as the General Manager of Serie A giants Roma.
