Basel's goalkeeper is delighted that his side came away from London with a solid 2-2 draw.

Basel goalkeeper Yann Sommer has admitted that the 2-2 draw earned in London against Tottenham Hotspur is a "good result" for his side.

The Swiss side were pegged back from two goals ahead and had to settle for the draw, but Sommer was still pleased with the organisation and determination of his teammates.

"For us it is a good result," UEFA.com quotes Sommer as saying.

"We were playing away against Tottenham, who are third in the Premier League and have a really good team, but we showed today that we have a really good team, played a really good game, and created a lot of chances.

"The first half was really good – we created a lot of pressure, we did not give them space to play, were focused and our organisation was really good."

The second leg takes place next Thursday in Switzerland at 8.05pm.
