Vizela vs. Tondela (Saturday, 3.30pm)

Fresh off the back of a 3-0 opening-day defeat against reigning champions Sporting Lisbon, Vizela host Tondela at the Estadio do FC Vizela on Saturday.

The visitors will look to pick up where they left off after opening their league campaign with an impressive 3-0 victory over Santa Clara last time out.

We say: Vizela 1-2 Tondela

Tondela will look to maintain their fine start to the league campaign following last week's victory over Os Acoreanos. We expect Vizela to put up a valiant fight, having finished with the best home record in the Segunda Liga last season. However, looking at the gulf in quality in the two squads, we expect Tondela to claim all three points.

The Portuguese Primeira Liga returns with a fresh set of fixtures as Benfica welcome Arouca to the Estadio Sport Lisboa e Benfica on Saturday.

The hosts head into the game off the back of a 2-0 victory over Spartak Moscow, while the visitors were beaten 2-0 by Estoril Praia last Saturday.

We say: Benfica 3-0 Arouca

Benfica have begun their 2021-22 campaign on the front foot, picking up three wins from three competitive outings.

We expect them to keep the juggernaut rolling and claim a comfortable win over Arouca as they boast a significantly stronger and more experienced squad.

Braga vs. Sporting Lisbon (Saturday, 8.30pm)

In a repeat of July's Supertaca Final, Braga and Sporting Lisbon go toe-to-toe at the Estadio Municipal de Braga on Saturday.

Braga will look to exact revenge on the visitors, who came out victorious in that encounter to clinch their ninth Super Cup title.
