Artur Boruc, Jos Hooiveld among six players released by Southampton

Southampton announce that they will not renew the contracts of six players this summer, with Artur Boruc and Jos Hooiveld among those to leave St Mary's.

Southampton have announced that they will not renew the contracts of six players as manager Ronald Koeman begins to shape his squad ahead of next season.

Goalkeeper Artur Boruc and defender Jos Hooiveld are among those who will be leaving the South Coast club.

Poland international Boruc, who spent this season on loan at Bournemouth, will leave St Mary's after three years.

Hooiveld, who joined Southampton in 2011, has been loaned out to Norwich City and Millwall this season after struggling to hold down a first-team spot under Koeman.

Cody Cropper, Omar Rowe, Jake Sinclair and Chris Johns are the other players who will now also be looking for new clubs.
