Mauricio Pochettino believes that it's "too early" in the season to discuss the prospect of Southampton getting relegated.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino believes that it's "too early" for the Saints to consider relegation from the Premier League.

The Spaniard's side currently sit three points away from the drop zone in the table following their 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic.

"It's far too early to start talking about these problems and we will carry on playing this way and we will see later," the Daily Echo quotes Pochettino as saying. "This team is good enough for this league."

Southampton will face Manchester City this Saturday.
