Mauricio Pochettino rejects rumours of Southampton exit

Mauricio Pochettino denies reports that he will leave his position as Southampton manager at the end of the season.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has turned down reports claiming that he plans to leave the Premier League outfit.

There have been suggestions that the 41-year-old could leave his post at St Mary's at the end of the season, despite only joining the top-flight outfit a year ago.

"They have no foundation," Pochettino said in a press conference. "I am happy here, of course."

Southampton are currently ninth in the league table after 20 games.
