Mauricio Pochettino insists that he has "no problem" with Southampton predecessor Nigel Adkins.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that there are no bad feelings between himself and former Saints boss Nigel Adkins.

The 41-year-old, who replaced sacked Adkins in a matter of hours in January, will go up against the Liverpool-born coach when Southampton take on Reading on Saturday.

"I have no problem with Nigel Adkins," Goal.com quotes Pochettino as saying. "I have full respect for him and for what he achieved at Southampton."

Southampton reside four points above the relegation zone, while Reading sit at the bottom of the table.
