New Notts County goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski says that he is excited to have joined such a big club.

Bartosz Bialkowski has expressed his delight at joining Notts County.

The 24-year-old Polish goalkeeper moved to Meadow Lane on a free transfer earlier today following his release from Premier League new boys Southampton.

He said: "I'm really excited to be here and to join such a big club as Notts County."

Magpies goalkeeping coach Kevin Pilkington added: "We heard he was being released by Southampton and he was our top target. We have heard and seen a lot of good things.

"He is 24, a good age for a goalkeeper and is young and hungry for success."

Bialkowski, who made 42 appearances during five and a half years at St Mary's, has signed a three-year deal at Meadow Lane.
