Dave Jones says Sheffield Wednesday win a "reward"

Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones says that today's win against Reading had been coming.

Dave Jones believes that Sheffield Wednesday's 5-2 win against Reading today was the "reward" that his players deserved.

The Owls climbed out of the Championship relegation zone with their first win of the season.

"I feel it's the reward for the players for the hard work that they've been doing," he told BBC Sport.

"We just needed to turn the draws into wins and everything that could go for us went for us and these are the days you've got to enjoy.

"It's been coming. All that frustration and bad luck came good. I can't fault the players and they should enjoy it, because on Monday we'll batter them for the mistakes they did make."

Wednesday travel to Derby County next.
