Sheffield United are close to completing the signing of Falkirk striker Lyle Taylor, according to reports.

Sheffield United could complete the signing of Falkirk striker Lyle Taylor in the next few days, according to reports.

The Scottish First Division club are resigned to losing the the 23-year-old after he finished as top goalscorer in the league last season with 29 goals.

Hibernian are interested in keeping Taylor in Scotland but, according to Sky Sports News, the Blades are favourites to secure his signature.

Rotherham United also had an offer accepted for Taylor last week, but it was rejected by the player.
