Sevilla's Alvaro Negredo admits that he would consider playing in the Premier League one day.

Alvaro Negredo has reportedly put a number of Premier League clubs on alert following his revelation that he is a fan of the English game.

The Sevilla and Spain striker has reportedly been tracked by Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in the past, but all of them are said to have baulked at the £18m asking price.

However, those clubs could now renew their interest after he told Revista De La Liga that he would consider a move to the Premier League.

"The Premier League is a great competition, I really like it and I think my style of football would be well-suited to it," he said.

"There comes a time when a cycle comes to an end and I don't know whether my time will be sooner or later. I haven't thought about it a lot but I wouldn't mind playing abroad."

Negredo has made 12 appearances for the Spanish national team.
