Two Scunthorpe United goalkeepers have suffered the same injury as they both broke their arm in their 2-0 defeat to Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.
The Iron number one Sam Slocombe came off after eight minutes when he fractured his arm.
Replacement goalkeeper James Severn only lasted half an hour before receiving the same fate as his teammate when he successfully kept out Robins striker Matt Smith in a one-on-one situation.
Mark Robins was left with no other option than to put defender Andrew Boyce in net for the remaining 50 minutes of the League One encounter.
"We've lost two goalkeepers in this game to the same injury - broken arms under a challenge from one of their players," Robins told The Mirror.
"I'm just massively disappointed and I'm disappointed for them because they've broken their arms.
"I'm disappointed for the players because they were the better team on the day."
Boyce was unable to keep out the Robins attackers as Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Luke Freeman scored for the away side to claim all three points.
