Vitesse will be aiming to secure only their second victory of the new Eredivisie campaign when they travel to NEC on Sunday.

While the visitors sit just above the relegation zone, the hosts could potentially break into the top six by the end of the weekend.

Vitesse have had a difficult start to the new Eredivisie campaign, and while they have the qualities to produce results, this weekend could be a tough one.

This Sunday will see the Rotterdam derby take place as SBV Excelsior host Sparta Rotterdam in their latest Eredivisie fixture.

With only two points between them in the league table, there is little to split them at the moment, setting up what should be a closely contested fixture.

This is a derby day encounter, therefore both teams and fans should be up for it which will create a passionate atmosphere and a tense game.

Two sides separated by a single point in the middle of the Eredivisie table will square off in the seventh round of league fixtures on Sunday, as Heracles welcome PEC Zwolle to Almelo.

The hosts currently sit ninth after a creditable draw away at AZ Alkmaar on Thursday, while their visitors are just a point worse off following a defeat in their last outing, also against AZ Alkmaar, last Sunday.

There is certainly not much to split these two sides, but with confidence from an impressive midweek result and home advantage on their side, we give Heracles the edge and back them to take all three points.

The hosts dropped points for the first time this season on Thursday, playing out a 1-1 draw with Heracles after a perfect start, while their visitors sit eighth after their first defeat of the campaign last Friday.
