Russia coach Fabio Capello has praised the reaction of his team during their 1-1 draw with South Korea at the World Cup.
A goalkeeping error from Igor Akinfeev saw the Koreans take the lead on Tuesday night before Aleksandr Kerzhakov struck to earn the Russians a point in their opening match in Group H.
"We played a solid match and I'm satisfied with our performance," Capello is quoted as saying by FIFA.com. "My players reacted well after the opening goal.
Even so, I'm a little disappointed because we could have won the game. We were very edgy at the start, and we weren't able to play our usual football."
Russia are back in action on Sunday when they meet Belgium in Rio de Janeiro.
