Seydou Keita extends Roma stay

Roma confirm that midfielder Seydou Keita has penned a new one-year deal with the club.

Roma have confirmed that midfielder Seydou Keita has signed a new one-year deal with the club until the end of next season.

The 35-year-old joined the Italians from Valencia last summer.

Keita scored three goals in 36 appearances for the Giallorossi during the 2014-15 campaign.

"AS Roma announces that it has signed a new contract with Seydou Keita to keep the player at the club for the 2015-16 season," read a brief statement on the club's official website.

Mali international Keita's former clubs include Marseille, Sevilla and Barcelona.
