Bordeaux attacker Malcom is close to completing a big-money move to Serie A side Roma, thought to be worth £32m.

Bordeaux have revealed that an agreement has been reached with Roma for the sale of Brazilian attacker Malcom.

The long-running saga involving the 21-year-old's future appears to be drawing to a close as the Giallorossi have reportedly coughed up £32m.

Malcom has been linked with a whole array of sides across the continent during his two years at Bordeaux, with Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan, Fulham, Everton, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all credited with an interest at one point.

Roma recently emerged as the favourites to sign the Brazil age-grade international, however, after his agent revealed that a move to the Italian top flight was top of the agenda.

A switch to the Stadio Olimpico is now close to being completed, with Bordeaux posting on Twitter: "FC Girondins de Bordeaux informs you that an agreement has been reached, subject to the signature of the administrative documents, with the AS Roma for the transfer of Malcolm."

Malcom is said to have already agreed personal terms with Roma and will arrive in the Italian capital on Monday evening ahead of his unveiling.
