Francesco Totti has revealed his support for Roma teammate Kevin Strootman after the midfielder was forced to undergo a third operation on his knee.
The club confirmed on Tuesday that the surgery was a success, but they have refused to set a date for the Dutchman's return and Totti was quick to hand the 25-year-old his backing.
"Kevin, we are all with you," the Roma captain wrote on his official website.
"Champions like you are true gladiators, you never give up. We're waiting for you my friend. Your help on the pitch is too important!
"For us, you are Roma, in the heart and the soul."
Roma spent a reported £15m to sign Strootman from PSV Eindhoven in 2013.
