Roma's Morgan De Sanctis targets victory over Juventus

Morgan De Sanctis says that Roma will be aiming for a win when they face Juventus in Serie A on Sunday evening.

Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis has said that his team will make it difficult for Juventus during their Serie A clash on Sunday.

The Giallorossi take on the league leaders in Turin, hoping to close the five-point gap that separates them in the table, and De Sanctis admits that while it will be a tough game, he is confident his side can claim a victory.

"We are going to Turin to put them into difficulty," he told Roma Channel. "We are ready to give them a hard time. We are all in shape and we'll see what happens.

"It won't be easy for us, but it won't be easy for them either – you can count on that. We have to focus on delivering a top performance as five points is quite a gap and it can't get bigger.

"The fact that we have not lost a game and are second is a bit surprising. We might not be going into this game in a favourable position, but there will be many ties left after Sunday and anything can happen."

Roma have yet to be defeated in the league this season, after their first 17 matches.
