Roma suffer triple injury blow

Roma confirm that Francesco Totti, Edin Dzeko and Seydou Keita have all picked up injuries that will keep them out of action for the foreseeable future.

Roma have confirmed that Francesco Totti, Edin Dzeko and Seydou Keita are all facing a spell on the sidelines.

The three players all picked up various injury problems as the Giallorossi romped to a 5-1 win over Carpi on Saturday evening.

Captain Totti was forced off the pitch early in the second half after straining his right hip flexor and will be missing for a month.

Meanwhile, Dzeko is facing between three and four weeks out of action after scans showed damage to the collateral ligament in his right knee.

They are also set to be without Keita for the next two weeks, as the Mali international has suffered a thigh strain.
