Wes Hoolahan has welcomed the appointment of Roy Keane to the Republic of Ireland coaching staff.
The former Manchester United midfielder has taken on the role as assistant to manager Martin O'Neill.
Having had the opportunity to get to know Keane for a few days now, Norwich City's Hoolahan has said that he has enjoyed working with one of his boyhood heroes.
"Roy Keane is a legend here in Ireland and I supported Manchester United as well so to work with Roy is just great," Hoolahan told reporters.
Tonight Ireland take on Poland in Poznan.
