Herita Ilunga hopes that Rennes can keep their good form going and win at Lille for the first time in 47 years.

Herita Ilunga has insisted that Rennes can keep their good run of form going and win away against Lille on Friday evening.

Ilunga said that it will require a lot of "solidarity" among his teammates to take the three points but that they will be motivated by the positivity in the squad.

"If we play the way we are capable of playing, there is no reason we cannot win," L'Equipe quotes Ilunga as saying.

"We want to continue in this positive spiral. However it will take a lot of effort, a lot of dedication and a lot of solidarity."

Rennes have eight points from a possible 12 and sit fifth in Ligue 1.
