Carlo Ancelotti: 'Jese Rodriguez can go to World Cup'

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti backs Jese Rodriguez to make the Spain squad for the World Cup.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti believes that Jese Rodriguez has a strong chance of travelling with the Spain squad for the World Cup.

Jese is yet to gain a senior cap for his country, but is widely expected to be included in the upcoming friendlies for La Roja following a breakthrough season at the Bernabeu.

"It's not an exaggeration to talk about Jese going to the World Cup. There are a lot of players like him, who have had a great season and will have a great World Cup," he told Canal Plus.

The 20-year-old has scored eight times in 27 games for Los Blancos this season.
