Defender Raphael Varane has suggested that he is trying to convince Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid in the future.
While Mbappe has frequently been linked with an eventual switch to the Bernabeu, PSG are unlikely to consider a sale next summer unless they receive a world-record bid.
However, aware that Mbappe has just under three years left on his contract, Varane has admitted that he would like to see his French compatriot join him in La Liga.
The centre-back told Le Figaro: "I always want Mbappe in my team - whether it's the national team or even my club. I know all about his qualities, he's a great player.
"He'll spend this season in Paris but we don't know what'll happen in the future. As for Real Madrid, I've only good things to tell him about, but he already knows."
Mbappe was unavailable on Wednesday night as PSG registered a 3-0 victory over Real in the Champions League.
