Cristiano Ronaldo set for Real Madrid talks next week

Four-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set for crunch talks with Real Madrid over his future on either Monday or Tuesday next week.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo will undergo talks with the club over his future on either Monday or Tuesday next week, according to reports.

The 32-year-old is understood to be eager to leave Los Blancos this summer after he was accused of tax fraud by the Spanish authorities earlier this month.

Ronaldo has been unable to meet club officials to discuss the situation due to his involvement in the Confederations Cup, but Portugal's semi-final penalty shootout exit to Chile on Wednesday means that he is now free to hold showdown talks.

The four-time Ballon d'Or winner has been allowed to miss Portugal's third-place playoff in order to return to Spain, where a decision is expected to be made on his future next week.

Madrid president Florentino Perez has already claimed that he is not worried about the situation.

Ronaldo has scored 406 goals in just 394 appearances since joining Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009.
