Report: Barcelona, Real Madrid to battle for Juan Manuel Iturbe

Hellas Verona winger Juan Manuel Iturbe emerges as a reported transfer target for Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Barcelona and Real Madrid will reportedly go head-to-head for the signing of Juan Manuel Iturbe this summer.

The 20-year-old spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Hellas Verona from Porto, but has since made his move to the Italian outfit a permanent one.

According to Sport, however, Barca and Madrid are both preparing big-money offers for the talented attacker this summer, with Verona looking to immediately double the £10m they recently paid.

Iturbe, who has previously been linked with Roma, scored eight times for Verona last season.
