Real Madrid reportedly intend to keep James Rodriguez at the Bernabeu until the end of the season, despite interest from a number of European clubs.

James Rodriguez is reportedly likely to see out the season at Real Madrid, despite alleged interest from other clubs.

Ever since returning from his two-year loan spell with Bayern Munich during the summer, Rodriguez has been linked with an eventual exit from the Bernabeu.

Everton and Atletico Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of potential offers during the January transfer window.

However, while it was believed that Real were open to parting ways with the playmaker, AS claims that Los Blancos intend to keep the Colombia international until the end of the campaign.

Despite making just five starts and four substitute outings in all competitions, Rodriguez's lack of game time has partly been due to injury.

The 28-year-old has a contract at Real until the end of the 2020-21 season.
