Real Madrid have expressed an interest in signing Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia, according to reports.
The 29-year-old played in the 2014 World Cup final with Argentina and has also been turning out for the Albiceleste in this summer's Copa America.
According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, new Real manager Rafael Benitez rates Biglia highly, and despite Lazio holding out for £21m, Los Blancos are confident that £15.6m will be enough to sign him.
Biglia, also said to be on the radar of Manchester United, began his career in 2004 with Argentinos Juniors before spells at Independiente, Anderlecht and finally Lazio.
