Santos striker Neymar insists that he does not need to leave Brazil in order to improve as a footballer.

Santos striker Neymar has rejected suggestions that he needs to move to Europe in order to become a better player.

The 20-year-old has expressed an interest in leaving Brazil, but not until 2014, with reported interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

"Experience comes with time. I have improved in the last three years and I can continue to improve by working hard and trying to win," Neymar told Globesporte.

"I do not need to go to a new place to grow or get more experience. I am experiencing many things at Santos, with many positive accomplishments. I do not need to move to Europe."

Neymar has eight goals in 16 caps for Brazil.
