Kylian Mbappe reportedly has no interest in joining Al-Hilal, and is refusing to meet with the club's representatives after their world-record offer earlier this week.

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly turned down a move to Al Hilal with the France international not interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.

Al-Hilal made a world-record bid for Mbappe earlier this week totalling €300m (£257m), with the forward currently setting his sights on a move away from Paris Saint-Germain.

That fee would dwarf the £166m that PSG spent to bring Mbappe to the club from Monaco back in 2017, and would break the record currently held by Neymar as the world's most expensive footballer.

PSG gave the club permission to speak to Mbappe as they are looking to sell him instead of losing him on a free next summer.

Mbappe was dropped from their pre-season squad last week and immediately placed up for sale by the Ligue 1 club.

However, Sky Sports News claims that Mbappe is not interested in meeting with representatives of Al-Hilal because he has already agreed terms to join Real Madrid on a free in 12 months' time.

It was believed that the Saudi club would offer Mbappe a one-year deal, before allowing him to move on when Real Madrid come calling.

PSG would rather receive a fee and have told Mbappe that he must leave this transfer window and will listen to any offers for the 2018 World Cup winner.

Mbappe is currently refusing to sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes, and PSG have said he will not play for the club again unless he signs an extension.

After it was rumoured that Al-Hilal would offer Mbappe a £600m contract for just one season, it looked more likely he would join big names Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the Gulf state.

However, the 24-year-old appears likely to dig his heels in and run down his contract in Paris before moving to Madrid.

The report claims that Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Barcelona are all also showing interest having been alerted by PSG's plea to sell the player.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has outlined potential difficulties in making a deal happen, and Barcelona's financial troubles make a deal unlikely too.

Despite his young age, Mbappe is already PSG's all-time record goalscorer, but the manner of his exit may leave ill feeling between the two parties.

Real Madrid may remain patient until next summer, having already spent a nine-figure sum on Jude Bellingham this summer.
