Real Madrid's Lucas Silva staying at Marseille?

Despite speculation linking him with a switch to Anderlecht, Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva will reportedly remain on loan with Marseille.

Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva has reportedly decided to see out the remainder of his season-long loan stint at Marseille.

The Brazilian has featured on a regular basis for the Ligue 1 outfit this term, yet there had been suggestions that he was considering the offer of a spell in Belgium with Anderlecht.

However, Marca claims that following discussions with his parent club, the 22-year-old has opted to stay at the Stade Veledrome.

The report adds that Silva is hopeful he can force his way into the senior squad at the Bernabeu next season.
