Jese pleased with Cristiano Ronaldo comparisons

Real Madrid attacker Jese Rodriguez says that he 'likes to be compared' to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid attacker Jese Rodriguez has revealed that he 'likes to be compared' to Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Jese, 20, scored 22 goals for Madrid's Castilla outfit last season, but has struggled to win a spot in the first-team squad since making his debut in the 2011-2012 campaign.

"I have liked a lot of players; the Brazilian Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, but my favourite is Cristiano Ronaldo. I like being compared to him," he told Marca.

"I love his drive. He never gets tired of scoring goals. He always wants more. The club president is happy with me. I hope to reach an agreement and stay at the club. I really want to play in the first team."

A host of clubs have been linked with a loan move for the Spaniard.
