Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez signs a new six-year deal with the club.

Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez has signed a new long-term contract with the La Liga giants.

The right-back, who has been on the books at the club since age 11, has pledged his future to the European champions until 2021 by penning a six-year deal.

"Real Madrid announce that Nacho Fernandez's contract has been extended for the next six seasons," read a statement on Real's official website.

Fernandez only broke into the Real first team under manager Carlo Ancelotti last season, making 19 appearances in all competitions.
