Edinson Cavani offered to Real Madrid?

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly offer striker Edinson Cavani to Real Madrid following the Uruguayan's dispute with new signing Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered striker Edinson Cavani to Real Madrid following his falling-out with new signing Neymar.

The pair became embroiled in a dispute during the 2-0 win over Lyon at the weekend as they argued over who should take a penalty.

The row allegedly continued off the field as teammates were said to have kept them apart in the dressing room, an incident that led to world-record signing Neymar demanding that PSG sell Cavani at the first opportunity.

According to Spanish daily Diario Gol, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has taken Neymar's concerns seriously and has contacted Madrid president Florentino Perez to offer him Cavani, who has been in the French capital for four years.

Los Blancos gave Karim Benzema a new four-year deal yesterday but are still thought to be in the hunt for fresh attacking reinforcements either in January or next summer.

Chelsea and Everton have also been credited with an interest in Cavani following the incident.
