Real Madrid join Barcelona, Atletico Madrid at summit

Real Madrid join Barcelona and Atletico at the top of La Liga with a 3-0 win over Getafe.

Real Madrid have gone level on points with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table with a comfortable 3-0 win away to Getafe.

Jese Rodriguez continued to enhance his growing reputation by firing his side ahead after six minutes, collecting a pass from Gareth Bale before curling beyond goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya to bag his eighth goal of the campaign.

Carlo Ancelotti's men doubled their advantage shortly before the half-hour mark, with Angel di Maria surging down the flank before finding the lurking Karim Benzema, who thumped home into the bottom corner.

Luka Modric put the result beyond doubt on 66 minutes, finding space outside the area before rifling past Moya to cap a comfortable win for the Madrid giants.
