Zinedine Zidane has reportedly informed Real Madrid that he will leave his position as assistant manager at the end of the season.
The Frenchman became Carlo Ancelotti's number two at the start of the campaign when the Italian took charge at the capital outfit.
However, according to Marca, Zidane will step into management this summer, with Monaco believed to be interested in securing the services of the former World Cup winner.
Ancelotti has also been linked with a move away from Los Blancos at the end of the season despite a successful campaign in Madrid.
