Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova says that Lionel Messi is the best player in the world "by a big margin".

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova believes that the world will never again see a player of Lionel Messi's quality.

The Argentine forward scored twice in the Blaugrana's 2-2 draw with Real Madrid at Camp Nou in La Liga on Sunday.

"We will never again see a player of Messi's calibre," said Vilanova.

"He is the best in the world by a big margin. We don't know where his limits are."

Messi has scored eight goals in La Liga so far this season and two in the Champions League.
