Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, all of whom are up for the individual Ballon d'Or, were named in the front three, meaning that there was no place for Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema or Luis Suarez.
In addition to Ronaldo, Madrid also contributed Marcelo, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric, while Dani Alves and Andres Iniesta joined the Barcelona attackers in the side.
Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus also contribute one player each, with Manuel Neuer, Thiago Silva and Paul Pogba making up the rest of the XI.
