Portuguese legend Eusebio has said that Real Madrid are the best club side in the world.
Madrid are in Lisbon on Friday to play against Benfica in the Eusebio Cup, and are expected to field a strong lineup.
Eusebio, who never played for the nine-time European champions, is honoured to have a trophy named after him and is overjoyed to have Madrid play for it.
"I am deeply satisfied that Real Madrid, the best club in Spain, will travel to Lisbon to play for a trophy named after me," the 70-year-old told Madrid's official website.
"I am honoured and I'm happy for Benfica supporters because they'll get a chance to see the best team in the world in action at their stadium.
"I think it will be packed. It will be a great party for Benfica, Lisbon and, especially, for me. I wish to thank Benfica for the job they've done coming up with such a great match."
Eusebio won the Portuguese Primeira Liga 11 times with Benfica and led Portugal to the semi-finals at the 1966 World Cup.
