Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti says that he is "very happy" at Bernabeu amid rumours linking him with the Brazil job.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that he is "very happy" at Bernabeu and not currently interested in the vacant Brazil post.

Tite left his role as Brazil boss following the disappointment of the 2022 World Cup, with the South American nation being eliminated by Croatia in the quarter-finals.

A recent report claimed that Ancelotti had emerged as a contender for the position, but the Italian has said that he currently has no desire to end his time with Real Madrid.

"What the future holds for me, I don't know, I live for the day, for now I'm very happy at Madrid, we have many goals to achieve this season, there will be time to think about my future," he told Rai Sport.

"I'm under contract until June 30, 2024 and if they don't sack me, I won't leave."

Ancelotti said earlier this year that he would be open to managing a national team once he has decided to retire from club management.

"After this period at Real Madrid it is likely that I will retire. But if Real Madrid want me to be here for another 10 years, I'll be here for another 10 years," Ancelotti told Amazon Prime Video.

"I would like to be with my grandchildren, to be on holiday with my wife. There are so many things to do that I've had to put aside. There's a lot of places I've never been to.

"I've never been to Australia. I've never been to Rio de Janeiro. I want to go visit my sister more often. Unfortunately you can't do everything, so the day I retire, I'll have all these things to do.

"Why not? (manage a national team) I would love to, of course. Canada have done very well recently."

The 63-year-old has enjoyed huge success during his two spells in charge of Real Madrid, first managing the club between June 2013 and May 2015 before returning in June 2021.

Ancelotti has won La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, the Copa del Rey, two Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups and the Club World Cup during his time at Bernabeu.

The Italian delivered a league and Champions League double last term, while Los Blancos have had a strong start to the 2022-23 campaign, sitting second in La Liga, two points behind leaders Barcelona.

Real Madrid have also qualified for the last-16 stage of the Champions League, with the holders set to take on Liverpool in the first knockout round.

Los Blancos will be back in competitive action following the 2022 World Cup away to Real Valladolid in Spain's top flight at the end of December.
