Thursday's La Liga predictions including Real Madrid vs. Getafe

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Thursday's La Liga action, including Real Madrid vs. Getafe.

Eibar vs. Osasuna (Thursday, 6.30pm)

Eibar play host to Osasuna on Thursday evening with the opportunity to boost their chances of avoiding relegation from La Liga.

While the home side currently sit nine points above the bottom three, 11th-placed Osasuna are bidding to move into the top half of the standings.

We say: Eibar 1-1 Osasuna

With Osasuna having less pressure on their shoulders, we expect them to throw more caution to the wind than their hosts. However, with Eibar potentially being content with simply avoiding defeat, this game could end in a draw.

Real Sociedad vs. Espanyol (Thursday, 6.30pm)

Two sides looking to end their respective winless runs in La Liga will lock horns on Thursday evening as Real Sociedad welcome Espanyol to the Anoeta Stadium.

Sociedad remain in the hunt for a European place as they lie seventh, whereas Espanyol are rooted to the bottom of the table after 32 matches.

We say: Real Sociedad 2-0 Espanyol

Neither of these sides inspire much confidence heading into the business end of the season, and Espanyol should fancy their chances against an out-of-sorts Sociedad side. However, we are backing the superior quality of Alguacil's men to pave the way for a comfortable home victory as Sociedad look to get their charge for a top-six finish back on track.

Real Madrid vs. Getafe (Thursday, 9.00pm)

Real Madrid head into Thursday's encounter with Getafe on Thursday evening knowing that victory will be enough to remain at the top of the La Liga table.

Meanwhile, Getafe make the trip to the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium having extended their unbeaten record to four games with a win over Real Sociedad on Monday night.

We say: Real Madrid 2-0 Getafe

In theory, this contest should be Real's toughest since the resumption. However, we feel that the extra day of recovery could prove crucial, resulting in Zidane's side being able to record a solid win over the Champions League contenders with minimal fuss.
