Xabi Alonso says that Real Madrid must play with intensity to finish off Galatasary at the Turk Telekom Arena.

Xabi Alonso has warned his Real Madrid teammates that they still have a job to finish against Galatasaray.

Los Blancos put one foot in the semi-finals of the Champions league by romping to a 3-0 victory at the Bernabeu last night.

However, the Spanish international said that there will be no room for complacency when they travel to the Turk Telekom Arena next Tuesday.

"It's the result that we wanted," Football Espana quotes Alonso as saying. "We scored and we did not concede.

"In football a lot can happen, there are 90 minutes still to play and we must continue with this intensity and competitive pressure.

"This year we want very much to win the Champions League. We are making progress but there are still a few games to go."

Real take on Levante in La Liga on Saturday.
