Reading are reportedly eager to sign Greek goalkeeper Stefanos Kapino before the transfer window closes in August.
The 18-year-old has made just 12 senior appearances for his club side Panathinaikos.
However, Reading boss Brian McDermott has seen enough to believe that the shot-stopper would prove to be a useful addition to his squad, according to reports in Greece.
The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Inter Milan have all been credited with an interest in the teenager in recent months.
Kapino was recently sent off as Greece Under-19s knocked England out of European Championships in Estonia.
