Queens Park Rangers are reportedly interested in a deal for Aston Villa forward Scott Hogan.
The 27-year-old moved to the Midlands outfit in 2017 but fell out of favour last season, making just six appearances before being shipped out on loan to Sheffield United, where he scored two goals in eight games to help the side gain promotion to the Premier League.
According to West London Sport, the Blades are yet to make an offer to bring Hogan back to Bramall Lane, but the Republic of Ireland international has a keen admirer in the shape of QPR, who are pursuing a loan deal.
The publication says that the player's wages may prove a stumbling block for the side, who are battling against EFL financial sanctions, but they remain hopeful of getting a deal done.
QPR boss Mark Warburton knows Hogan well, having previously worked with him at Brentford, where he had a strike rate of 21 goals in 33 league appearances.
Bristol City are also said to be interested in Hogan, who has two years remaining on his current deal at Villa Park.
