Christopher Samba reportedly passes a medical ahead of a deadline-day switch from Anzhi Makhachkala to Queens Park Rangers.

Christopher Samba has reportedly passed a medical ahead of his switch from Anzhi Makhachkala to Queens Park Rangers.

The West London outfit are believed to have triggered the centre-back's £12.5m release clause in his contract at the Russian club, which he joined from Blackburn Rovers last summer.

It is understood that Samba is poised to complete his switch to Loftus Road following a successful medical last night, according to Sky Sports News.

Reports have claimed that the Premier League outfit are prepared to offer the defender £100,000 a week.
