Report: Julio Cesar to leave Queens Park Rangers imminently

A report claims that Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar is poised to leave Loftus Road to join either Corinthians, Santos or Toronto FC in the coming days.

Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar will apparently leave Queens Park Rangers in the coming days to play in either North or South America.

The former Inter Milan stopper has only featured once for the Hoops this season after failing to find a transfer away from Loftus Road following their relegation to the Championship.

Rangers have been willing to allow the 34-year-old to leave, but rumoured admirers across Europe have balked at Cesar's wage demands. However, Sky Sports News now reports that he will move to either Corinthians, Santos or Toronto FC to get the football that will consolidate him as Brazil's number one.

Luiz Felipe Scolari, manager of the World Cup hosts, has revealed that Cesar will be included in his squad for this summer's tournament, but could not guarantee that he would be first choice unless he was playing regularly.

Cesar has been capped 77 times by Brazil since debuting in 2003, and moved to QPR on a four-year contract in 2012.
