Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Brazilian Bruno Perone, subject to international clearance.
The 24-year-old defender was available on a free transfer after leaving Brazilian club Tombense at the end of last season.
Perone has been training with the Premier League newcomers over the summer and has finally penned a one-year deal.
"Bruno has fitted in very well in the time he has been with us," Rangers manager Neil Warnock told the club's official website.
"One of the things he has got to learn is the language. At the moment Ali Faurlin is helping him out.
"He did well during pre-season. He has still got lots to learn but when the time comes I am sure we will be able to put him in the team with confidence," he added.
QPR begin their Premier League campaign with a home fixture against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
