Queens Park Rangers are leading the race for Inter Milan midfielder Yann M'Vila, his agent has confirmed.
The Frenchman could be available this month as Inter consider terminating his loan from Rubin Kazan, during which he has made only three Serie A starts.
Rangers were among a number of clubs who tried to sign M'Vila before he left Rennes for Russia in 2013 and reportedly retain their interest.
Fabrizio Ferrari, M'Vila's agent, is quoted as saying: "There are many sides interested in [M'Vila]. However, at this point in time, QPR have been the most active."
The London Evening Standard claims that talks have begun about the possibility of Adel Taarabt, who spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, returning to the San Siro as part of the deal.
